HARD BAITS

The Rebel Jumping Minnows are very productive here. The bone white color and the red-heads are good choices. Other topwater baits such as zaras
(Heddon), poppers, sticks, hardbaits with propellers are also welcome. Sizes: 10 to 16cm or 4" to 6". If you by them at US replace the triple hooks by reinforced ones. Check also the rings (at least 50lbs).

M INNOWS

Sub Surface minnows also work great with Peacocks. We suggest: Bomber 16, Borboleta (Juana e Juana-S), The First, Yo-Zuri e Cotton Cordell.

Bring also some jigs. They may surprise you.

SUNGLASSES

Beyond the protection it provides against the baits triple hooks (don't forget the hat also), the polarized models are indispensable for this trip because besides blocking much more UVA and UVB rays than conventional models they also provide you a clear visualization of submerged structures, witch is a determinative factor in peacock fishing.
